Power To The Owner

3 minute read

  Ownership?

Do you mean that the owner has power?

  Yes I do!

That also would mean that if I am powerless… or feeling powerless, that I might not be aware that I own something and do actually have power .

  • The owner of a physical property has control over the property, unless the owner has given control over to someone else or has had it taken away by force.

  • The owner is responsible for what goes on in the property and its condition.

  • The owner reaps the benefits that the property brings or bears the consequences for the ill use or neglect of the property.

The boundary line of a physical property tells where the property begins and ends. It gives definition so that the limits of the property can be seen. It also helps the owner protect the property and what is inside it.

Our lives are our property that we have rightful control over.

Because I am the owner, who has rightful control of my life, I therefore, am responsible for its condition and I will reap the benefits or bear the consequences of the state of my life.

It can be a hard thing to accept, that I own everything inside me regardless of how it got there, when things have come into my life that I did not choose and someone has crossed over that ownership line, bringing grief and pain into my world.

This principle of ownership gives me the power to choose.

This is the power that comes with ownership:

  I can take back control.

I can choose victimhood, or I can take control of what I own and go to safe people who will help me put my property- my life, back into good order.

Then I will be that one… who reaps the benefits.
